Six moulins fariniers, tous perch\u00e9s deux par deux sur les hauteurs du village sur les fameuses collines du vent, tournaient au Mas dans les ann\u00e9es 1900. Les moulins du Mas sont des moulins \u00e0 vent de type Laffont datant du XVIIe si\u00e8cle, tout comme le moulin du Cugarel qui surplombe la ville de Castelnaudary. \u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, le territoire comptait plus de 150 moulins \u00e0 vent r\u00e9partis dans les communes du Lauragais. L\u2019arr\u00eat de la meunerie et le d\u00e9but de la minoterie a fini de poser le d\u00e9clin des moulins \u00e0 vent et ils ne sont plus qu\u2019une douzaine encore existant sur notre territoire.<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
